Lovebird is BACK, friends!
This is a familiar favorite. Our latest edition of Lovebird is a 2:1 double origin of our deliciously versatile Guatemalan small family farm blend of catuai, caturra, and bourbon varietals, and one of our very favorite coffee producers ever, Katia Duke’s Honduran, washed catuai cultivar.
Katia’s component brings out the nougaty, malic, apple-like acidity; the small family farms component has accents of dark chocolate, cherry, and almondy flavors. These two coffees are boon companions; when combined they bring out creamy, sugar cookie notes and mild acidity you know and love from past iterations of Lovebird!
As part of our seasonal coffee release series, we are committed to donating $1 for every bag of Lovebird purchased to Cataylst, an organization doing restorative work in Butte County for victims of domestic violence and abuse.
