Grade 1 coffees are already considered to be of high quality, but Grade Zero coffees take it to the next level. These coffees are meticulously processed and milled to remove all defective beans, resulting in a clean and flavorful cup of coffee.
"Grade Zero" means that they have been carefully sorted and processed to remove any beans that are damaged, or otherwise flawed. As a result, Grade Zero coffees are consistently high-quality and offer a superior drinking experience.
Our first ever Grade Zero coffee comes from the Adame processing station in Ethiopia. This coffee is a blend of microlots from several coffee producers, each with its own unique flavor profile. The coffee is processed using a washed method, which means that the beans are first fermented and then washed clean. After processing, the coffee is hand-sorted as well as machine-sorted multiple times to remove any defects.
The result is a coffee that is incredibly clean and flavorful. We tasted this coffee and were blown away by its bright acidity and floral notes. It has a complex flavor profile with hints of watermelon candy, lavender, lemon. The coffee is also very smooth and well-balanced, with a long, lingering finish.
Grade Zero coffee is perfect for coffee lovers who are looking for the best possible cup of coffee. It is also a great choice for those who are looking for a coffee that is both delicious and sustainable. The coffee is grown by small farmers who are committed to sustainable farming practices.
If you are looking for a truly special cup of coffee, then give our first go at a Grade Zero coffee a try!
